A nice evening walk

30 June, 2010

Here is a picture that Gustaf took close to where we are staying this week. I love taking pictures of flowes but then I never know what to do with them so I thought I would showcase some of them here on the site:)

We are staying at the golf course where this tournament used to be held back in the day but then there was a fire in the clubhouse and the whole clubhouse burned down, and that is when they moved it to Highland Meadows where we are playing the tournament now. It is a nice community and believe it or not, the golf course was here before the development. That is pretty good job to find room for all the houses. I am sure there are a few houses here who get more golfballs in their yards than they would like but not ours:) We are right by a par 3 hole teebox so we see all the players who are aiming for the houses on the left but end up by the houses on the right:)

After dinner today Gustaf and I took a walk around the area and it was a perfect night! The water was calm and the humidity relatively low and the temperature absolutely perfect. It actually reminded us of a Swedish summer night:) Soon enough we will go home to Sweden to spend a few weeks there! I can almost not wait. But before that we have this tournament, the US Open as well as the road trip back to Phoenix!

I tee off in the afternoon tomorrow, I think first off in the pm times. My game feels pretty good, after a talk with my coach Rikard about my putting I feel like I should putt a bit better this week. There were nothing wrong with the stroke but rather my legnth feel and when you are a little off you start thinking about putting it the correct distance and then loose a little touch.

Now I have putted better the past few days so I think it will be better on the course as well! My chipping have also been a little off so I have been working on that this week and that does also feel better, now I just have to bring the same feeling out on the course and I should be good to go! Now I need to get ready for bed. Even though I have a late teetime tomorrow I will get up early and get som breakfast in the morning. If I don’t start my day with breakfast my whole day is ruined:) And of course…coffee!
