About Louise
My name is Louise and I love the game of golf but it hasn’t always been that way. This was before I discovered what the game of golf can do to a human being.
Perspective of life, nature experiences, and travelling are among the things that I have been fortunate enough to take part of thanks to golf. Also, to be able to compete in this sport just adds flavour to it!

I started playing golf at the same time as my mother; I was 9 years old. My mom was a lot better than me in the beginning and she got ‘official handicap’ way ahead of me. I loved horses much more than golf.
I used to look around the course to see if I could spot a horse in one of the fields that surrounded the golfcourse.
I eventually put the horses aside and started playing golf a little more seriously and entered competitions. I played well enough to be accepted into, at the time, the only high school in Sweden with a golf program.
My golf and school achievements gave me a full scholarship to the University of Washington in Seattle. After four years of studying I had earned a B.A in Environmental Studies.
I also played pretty good golf and I lowered my average score every year. The four years in Seattle were wonderful, and after my graduation I moved down to Scottsdale, Arizona to pursue my life as a professional golfer.
I spent my first year as a professional golfer on the Futures Tour (the official developmental tour of the LPGA). I learned a lot but my scores were not as good as I had hoped for. In the winter of 2005 I played on the West Coast Ladies Golf Tour, with quite a bit of success. Shortly after that, I moved back to Sweden to play on the Telia Tour (The Swedish Professional Golf Tour). I played good and that fall I qualified for the Ladies European Tour.
I now live in Phoenix, Arizona and love it!
