Boat, sunglasses, bbq, golf and fun!
23 July, 2010
I have had so much fun this week since we got back to Sweden! A top moments are both when we were out on the water with “Lunkans” motorboat on Tuesday afternoon. It was an all day thing and there were five of us catching some waves:) This week “Öresund” (the water between south of Sweden and Denmark) have swallowed two pairs of nice sunglasses. First on Tuesday when we were going fast on the water, to make the story short Lunkans sunglasses got kicked off from him and ended up in the water, of course there was no way to find them.
He bought the sunglasses only a couple fo weeks ago. First it was a bit of a party pooper but after 1 minute of &%/(#”¤ we were all good to go! Then on Wednesday, Gustaf and Lunkan went out on the choppy water again to do some canoeing. One of the waves caught Gustaf and he ended up flipping over upside down and of course, his sunglasses were long gone as well. I know it sucks when it happens I think it makes for funny stories and great laughs afterwards.
On Wednesday night we were all bbq at Karin and Olas place. It was great fun and good food. They live downtown so we took the car, I was the DD so I felt good on Thursday morning when I teed off early morning hours. It was raining pretty bad for a few holes but the humidity and heat was quite bad. I am glad I brought the rainjacket!
Thursday night we had a bbq at our place. I was so happy to see Maria, Kim, Pernilla, Gustav and the little Ellen. We had a great time and some good food and wine. It was a perfect night!
Today Gustaf and I spent the day in Malmoe to visit my grandparents. We went to a nearby golf club and had lunch. Then we spent some time at my grandparents house talking and laughing:)
Now I am almost done with packing for tomorrow. The plane does not leave until in the afternoon so I have some time in the morning to do that as well. Now I am ready to head to pick up my mom who have had a ladies night at a friends house:) Of course, I am happy to be the driver so they can have a glass of wine or two. Here in Sweden, the laws are much more strict than in the US and you cannot drive even after one glass of wine. Since I am home doing nothing I am happy to be the driver:)
See you all soon!
