Busy last few weeks

These past weeks has gone incredibly fast! I can’t believe that January is almost done and over with. At least I am using my time effectively balancing work and friends.

This past week my friend Rebecka, who lives in the Bay Area was here to hang out and talk some business. It was great and we had a fun time along with getting lots done. She left today and I have to admit, it is a bit empty after haning out with someone 24/7 for a few days.

Yesterday we had our yearly SWEA meeting and it went well. SWEA is a Swedish Women’s Educational Association and is worldwide. I am on the board for the Arizona chapter and that is for sure keeping me busy:) We have lots of events lined up and that is really exciting. There are many things that I want to do and get done before I head back to Sweden in April…I am leaving for Orlando, FL on Saturday to do the TPI Junior level 2 certification, it is a great program and I am excited to learn more!

This week consist of some cleaning up paperwork, literally cleaning up my place, working, socializing and then time for travel. Of course, it is a must to have time to visit one of my new fav spots here in my neighborhood; LUX (incredible baked goods and COFFEE!!!). For anyone who has not been there yet, it is truly a must visit if in town. It is a vibrant cafe open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is truly a must!

Now I am getting ready to have some Swedish Pea Soup…yummi!!
