In Sweden!

18 July, 2010

After a good trip we arrived to Sweden on Saturday night. The flight from London to Copenhagen was a bit delayed and so we got in a bit later than expected. I had a 30year birthday party to go to, and Gustaf was going to hang out at his parents house instead (he was not up for the 20 hours travelling and then heading out to a party and then hit the town!). So, I was dropped off at my parents house, ate a little bit and got ready for a fun night out! It was lots of fun to see Maria and some other people there. Then we headed to downtown for some dancing. I met up with a few of Gustaf’s friends and we had lots of fun. Of course, we missed Gustaf but at this point he was well asleep :)

Today the jetlag hit me pretty bad. I slept in the morning hours to the watch a little bit of the golf on tv and hang out with my mom. She played golf with a few friends today and she lowered her handicap to 9.9 today! She shot a 77 on the course!! I am so impressed by her game!

This morning my dad flew to Paris to have a sales meeting there, so he will be there for the remainder of the working week, so I will get some quality time with mom:) Maybe we get 9 in at night after she is done working since it is light out here for so long! The sun don’t go down until around 11p. It’s pretty cool that the days are so long.

Tomorrow I will probably make it down to the golf course and hit a few balls and if it is not crazy busy I will try to get out on the course and play a few and practicea bit. Hopefully it will be warm again this week (today was a bit chilly actually). Other than that there is not much on my schedule except for golfing, seeing friends and family and just enjoying the time here in Sweden. I have not yet booked the flights and hotel for the Monday qualifier for the British but I will get to that tomorrow.

I will try to take some pictures too from my time here and post it so you can see how beautiful it is here!
