Oakmont day 5, the last one:(

Today was a much better day on the golf course! I actually plaeyd quite well, too bad that I made 5 bogeys in the last 6 holes. The wind started swirling a little and it was a little tricky to figure it out and to top it off i missed three putts within 9 feet, which should not happen. I am happy that my game was better today though. Too bad that I don’t have any tournaments coming up soon. I might go to the Monday qualifier for the British Open, I am not happy about doing it but I guess I have to if I want to be a part of that tournament.

So we have bought flight tickets to go back home to Arizona tomorrow. We are excited to go back but of course, it is a bummer that I won’t make the cut this week. It is the first time I have missed the cut in US Open of the three times I have played.
Well, there are other tournaments…not many left this year but there are a few!

Tonight we hung out with Andrew, the son of the family we stayed with this week. We had a great time and he liked our cooking:) he taught us all about lacrosse, which he plays on the team at his school. I knew nothihng about lacrosse before and it was so much fun to have someone explain it to us!

It feels pretty unreal that we are heading back to Phoenix tomorrow, we have not been back since beginning of May! Michaela has been nice enough to get our mail and keep our place ok so at least we know the place is ok:)

Now I will pack a little bit and maybe watch a movie!
