SWEA Yulebazaar

We had so much fun this weekend and the Swedish Yulebazaar! It was crazy busy…I spent Friday afternoon and night with the other volunteers in SWEA preparing the place for the next days adventure! We had lots of fun planning it before hand and setting it up. We had 300 people visiting us between 10a-2p on Saturday.

As a player, it seemed as though the things that I was open to were the things that would help me play better (interestingly it did not really work in the end..did it?). Since I stopped playing competitive golf I have been surronded by people in the golf business, who don’t play competitively themselves but I tell you what…these people have for the game, including me.We can get so drawn in to conversations about the game and there are many interesting discussions surronding the topic. I feel like I have found home in golf. I think my grandfather would be very proud of me right now. He was a golf teaching professional and had some really creative ideas on how to teach golf, some of his ideas back then were probably a bit too much outside of the box for people but in today’s world he would have been right on target! The word on the street say he actually taught Jesper Parnevik how to play golf. I have not asked Jesper himself, but it would not surprise me. I wonder if he gave him some fashion tips as well:)

I just booked my ticket to go back home to Sweden this Christmas! I wish for some white days with candles lit, warm tea and lots of family and friends love:) I still have not decided if I should be in Arizona for New Years or if I should stay in Sweden…I will figure it out soon enough I guess.

Manuel de la Torre

These last three days I was lucky enough to get to spend with Manuel de la Torre. There were about 30 of us spending time and learning from the legend. I am so impressed with this man. He is 90 years old and still going strong! It is amazing to watch him give lessons. I even got to spend some time with him as he gave me a short lesson. Here are some pics…

Oceanside, CA

So I have been at Oceanside since Sunday and I am here for the TPI seminar golf level 3 as well as the Junior Program level 3. It is interesting to learn more and new stuff, and I get to know many fun and interesting people.

I have stayed with my good friends in Tustin, and this is my “little sis” Allie. We took the picture last time I stayed there early in the morning (hence the huge garbage bags under my eyes!!!). I have done the first seminar with my friend Rebecka and she is going back home to North California tonight and I will do the next Junior Level 3 with my other good friends Kristine and Tiffany! I am so looking forward to it!!!

Starting today tho I will be staying with some other friends at the Bridges while I am doing the Junior Level 3.

Guess we are getting started now with the last afternoon going over som visual assesments, which I am really looking forward to so I gotta go!
