Apple World!

4 November, 2011

This morning I had a One on One session at the Apple Store and it was so helpful! Finally how to upload pictures mades sense since they are stored a bit different on a Mac Computer. So to show my new skill here is a pic:)

This is just a picture from Sweden last winter that I really like. It is taken from my parents house in the courtyard. This picture creates a really happy feeling in me. DHEA;)

To the right you see some Arizona influenced Swedish winter:)
I love the pictures of the snow! Of course, I am not that crazy about the cold while there but we have a say in Sweden… “there are no bad weather, only bad clothing.”

Bye for now! I just wanted to show off my new Mac Skills:):)

Vision54

3 November, 2011

Wow…what an amazing week I have had so far. I was part of the Vision54 coaching school and it was so great! What was so great about it is not only the way  Lynn and Pia are able to motivate, energize and inspire but also how the student group itself were able to mend together and learn from each other in many different ways such as communicating.

As I am making the shift from being a player to coach it cannot help but loving the game of golf more and more for every day that goes by. Not only by living and breathing the game but it is so cool to be able to share time with other coaches who absolutely love the game. We share different experiences without competing against each other, which is totally different from being a player…where most times only your very closest circle of team will know your inner thoughts about the game.

I am not sure I am giving Vision54 justice by trying to summarize what they spent four days sharing with us but I want to share a few things that perhaps stands out more than other things. Of course, many of the excercises we did takes lots of focus, some thinking and some “digging deep” to find your inner visions.

Here are some questions that I was faced with during the week:

1. What are my most important beliefs about myself?

2. What are my most important beliefs about golf?

3. What are my most important beliefs about coaching/teaching?

4. What do I want my legacy to be?

Give these questions some thought…it took a bit more thinking for me than I originally thought it would…

CME event done

27 October, 2011

I got back late last night from Naples, Florida. It was the annual CME event the Global Financial Leadership Conference. I have been at that event four years in a row and I absolutely love it! Thanks Terry & Co for hosting the event and inviting us!

Over the years I have now gotten to know some people and it is lots of fun to catch up. I was not planning on playing more than 2 rounds of golf but since it is so amazingly fun to head out and have some bets going and we played some great courses. Pelican Bay, Olde Florida and Tiburon at the Ritz Naples.

Of course, after a few days of less than optimal sleep, good food and wine I am exhausted…getting a bit sick but have an event tonight and then I will just relax for a few days before I am starting my Vision54 coaching seminar Monday-Thursday next week.

Have a great rest of the week everyone!!!

Me in the New York Times:)

20 October, 2011

Hello to you all!

Gosh, who would have known that retired life is so busy:) I have been slammed with things to do and I absolutely love it!! In addition to that, I was in the New York Times today (well will be in the printed version tomorrow!). Karen wrote a great piece and truly portrayed what it is like leaving a pro athlete career and then heading in to new adventures!

Here is a link to the webpage which you can read the article in:

Let me know what you guys think:)
