Rochester, NY

I will start today’s writing by thanking Mike and Cindy for coming all the way out to Atlantic City and surprise Gustaf and I and cheering us on last week on Thursday. In the morning I was standing warming up on the putting green when I heard someone call my name, I look up and there was Mike and Cindy! I got so excited to see them and so was Gustaf. They walked with us all day and then we had time to go for a dinner before they headed back to CT.
I was so bad with updating last week since we stayed at a hotel that had not very good internet connection…in this time and age you would think wireless would be standard…but not last week.
Anyways, I did an off site pro-am on Tuesday and we had so much fun with the group! One of the members, John, of the group and his wife, Leslie invited us to go to dinner with them that night and we had such a good time! Thanks you two for the fun times Tuesday night. We hope to see you soon again!
Since I did not make the cut in Atlantic City Gustaf and I decided to make the drive to Mike and Cindy (who came to surprise us on Friday) and stay with them one night. Their daughter Krissy was at home that night too (she lives in NYC and works there and I am sooooo jealous that she lives there!!) and it was fun to catch up with her.
Then on Sunday we made our way to Rochester, NY where we checked in to a hotel for one night and then now we are staying in housing for the week. We just got done with dinner and now it is time for relaxtime for me and computer time! By the way, I went to the gym for the first time in a week today! Gee…my body is hurting already…:) I was so strong this winter but as the season goes along I feel like I am loosing so much muscles. It is hard to keep up the hard work in the gym due to both loss of energy while on the road as well as different schedules every week so it is hard to fit it in to the day. This week we have access to a really nice gym though so I will make my way there a couple more times for sure.
Gustaf is at a bowling tournament tonight with the other caddies, and maybe some players. I think it is nice to have some downtime so I decided not to go. Tomorrow is the official pro-am dinner so we will go to that together tomorrow, have some good food, good company and get ready for Thursday!

By the way, I forgot to tell you all about the new marker I have to mark my balls on the green. As you might know, I love pandas and I have been looking everywhere for a panda marker…well I found one in Springfield thanks to my housing family there…so now I have two fancy markers to bling up the green with:)
See you all soon!
