Toledo and Ipad
29 June, 2010
We drove to Toledo, OH on Sunday night after the play was done in Rochester. It was only a 4 hour drive so it was not too bad. On the way we stopped at a Mac Store so that I could get my beloved ipad, but of course they were all out even though I had called the day before and they said that “they have plenty in stock and I should be fine”. So that was a bummer….so now I am in the process of putting myself on the waiting list for ipad and the new iphone, in basically every Mac store in all the cities that we will be in for the next few weeks…what a bad system. It almost makes me not want the ipad but in a way it makes me want it even more because I have to work a little to get it. It is all planned out from Mac, I know…this is how they create the “WANT”.
Today I played a pro-am and Inverness GC where they will have the Senior US Open next year. What a great course! I was excited to get to play it, it will be a good test for the seniors next year:) Tomorrow is only practice day for me. I was asked to be in the pro-am tomorrow but I had to say no, I need some rest and some good practice time tomorrow. One of my pro-am partners had a really cool cigarholder that I have never seen. Here is a picture of it:)

My putting gets better. I spoke with my coach the other day and we worked some stuff out and it seems to come together surely. Now I just need to transfer the great feeling to the golf course and I should be good to go.
There was a dinner tonight that we were planning on going to but it just got too late on the golf course and by the time I was done with my practice I was way to hungry and tired to get ready for a gala dinner. Instead we found an indian restaurant (surprise that we eat indian!) and had some food to then go back and rest.
I got nine pairs of shoes from fj on Monday and tonight I spent changing out all the spikes on them. The spikes they come with are not the ones I use so took off as well as fastened 126 spikes tonight:) I will take a pic of my shoes (they are in the garage right now) and post them tomorrow. I have some really nice ones this time around, maybe not the strongest colors but very sleek designs:)
I also want to say thank you to Ed and Maryann for hosting us last week. We had such a good time in Rochester and felt right at home there. Also thanks to all of you who came out to root for us and for the Mercedes guys for all the help with our car. Believe it or not…one of our keys are broken this week…:)
